Conditions:
Planning to frame a small ceiling for installing an inner ceiling. 1.6 x 1.1m
Lower by at least 4cm (on the "inside").
Using gypsum
Concrete ceiling and gypsum walls

Questions:
Steel studs along the length CC 30? Skip short sides?
Or build a frame in the wall and attach there?
Which steel studs are meant for ceilings, all?

Anything else? :D

45 sk on walls and 25mm secondary profile across the short length. That way you don't have to hang the mess from the concrete ceiling. Or you can put a hanger in the middle with one or 2 hat profiles if you're the nervous type.

I'm not particularly nervous but want to get it right.

You mean it's enough to attach only along all walls? Then try to slap up a sheet in one piece? No risk it will warp?

Just planning to have 2 spotlights and transformers, no other special weight.

or make a joint in the middle and plaster. A bit more work but much easier to work with. If you want to do it really well, use double gips.

So these two?

Seems to just have drywall, so screw into the wall with plugs and screws every 20cm?

Feels like the secondary rule should be very stable considering the folds, and my short distance. So I think I'll skip installing anything in the ceiling. Set these CC 30 so the drywall should be happy.

screws in the plaster are enough. There are probably studs at 45 cc. If it's close to the ceiling, there is a skp there. At least 25mm high.
