How wide gate for driveway?

We have a gravel driveway and can have a gate between 3.5 - 6 meters, but are considering either a 3.5 or 4 meter wide gate.

What do you think looks best aesthetically? 3.5? 4?

How will the gate's placement be to the connecting road and how wide is that road? Will heavy traffic need to go through the gate?

It will be in close proximity to a country road from which the entrance goes. The entrance slopes down and is otherwise 4 meters wide. In exceptional cases, a truck may need to go in, of course. But maybe the gate should be as wide as the gravel road throughout the entrance? That is, 4 meters?

It will be in close proximity to a country road where the entrance is. The entrance is sloping downhill and is otherwise 4 meters wide. In exceptional cases, a truck may need to enter, of course. But perhaps the gate should be as wide as the gravel road is throughout the entire entrance? That is, 4 meters?

Yes, at least as wide as the entrance, and the closer it is to the connecting road, the wider it needs to be for larger vehicles to make the turn.
