Hello

Trying here instead:

Ended up installing a glass railing despite the advice against it. The packaging states it should be a maximum of some meters from the ground.

But well, now it's there.

Mostly worried that it might get blown apart as it's located near the sea.

In the pictures below, I hope you can see how it is made.

Would need help with tips and ideas on how I can secure it in the best way so it doesn't sway in the wind.

Regards

  • Glass railing mounted on a flat surface near wooden support structures with surrounding greenery and rocky terrain visible.
  • Glass railing installed outdoors near a body of water, mounted on a wooden base. Concerns about stability and wind resistance are mentioned in the post.
  • Glass railing mounted on deck near ocean, showing wooden posts and metal beam, with background of rocks and greenery.

Did you get any tips? Our glass railing just blew down this winter, we see now, with a similar mounting. I must come up with something more. The bottom board can't be drilled too deeply since it must be tight as it's a roof underneath.

A turnbuckle on each side. Attach it to the post and then to the wood.
