How to secure drywall to a chimney?
Hi
I bought tile adhesive and used a 6mm trowel across the entire wall, make sure the chimney breast is clean and not painted, you can apply bonding primer if needed to ensure it adheres properly. I drilled 5mm nail plugs and secured the plasterboard to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the quick responses
There is an old-fashioned mjös"panel on this wall, I will make it straighter and then kitchen cabinets and a fan hood will be put up on this wall = Sink side of the kitchen...
(It is a wooden wall for a part, then comes the chimney)
Best regards

Plaster, I would have used Gipsum...
A clarification:
We used plaster mortar to plaster the chimney.
In another room where we put plasterboard on the wall, there was a section of brick and there I used the plaster mortar to "glue" the boards (with some screws to prevent the board from sliding).

The wall is covered today with a mjös"board thought to leave it as is and put a repgypsum board on top of this mjukmjös... behind goes the chimney stack to attach firmly to.... Then kitchen cabinet frames will be put up on the wall...
