Cracked and damaged wall suspected to be lightweight concrete, with exposed areas and peeling surface, located in a home interior corner.
Hi, I need to repair a porous wall that I suspect is made of lightweight concrete, in order to then attach a stud for a closet I'm building with sliding doors. What should I use to repair this? Gypsum, husfix, or something else and how should I proceed to ensure it doesn't all fall apart?

When I attach a stud there later, what should I use to secure it and should I drill and plug first?

I'm not very experienced as you might hear, but I hope to be able to fix this myself.

First, check that the wall you plan to frame against is proper; just knock a little and ensure that it is a masonry wall, like lightweight concrete as you assumed. Patching is mostly cosmetic, knock off all loose material and repair with a repair mortar (ask at Beijer, for example) or maybe just wall filler if the damage is not too deep.

Then, as you said, drill, plug, and screw (the packaging usually states what size screw and drill bit to use), or alternatively, nail the plug to the frame. And, of course, not too close to the edge, so you don't risk more cracks.
