Hello,

In a project we are working on, we will need to take down a concrete wall. We cannot drive there by car, so everything must be carried or dragged.

What is the best way to dismantle a concrete wall? What tools, what technique, and what should we consider?

How big is the wall?
Concrete or hollow brick?
If it's possible to plastic wrap the area, I would probably take a half mask and chisel hammer and knock it down and carry it out in buckets. When I removed the floor in the laundry room, I removed the window and took everything out through it with buckets. If it's not possible to plastic wrap, I would probably see if someone could come and cut it into pieces first.

It's not very big, about 3x2m. The wall is cast concrete.

A pure concrete wall becomes a bit more resistant. Someone cutting it or if you do it yourself, I would have tried. These can be rented at various places.

  • Electric concrete saw used for cutting concrete walls, featuring a large circular blade and orange handle, available for rent at various places.
