How to protect the end of fzv threaded rod?
Hello
I have attached a terrace to the house partly with cut fzv-threaded rod. In other words, a one-meter rod that was cut into three pieces. The cut surfaces started to rust around day 1. Surely it would be wise to apply some protection before closing it up?
I heard something about galvanizing in a can. If that's the right way, I don't know, but maybe you do?
Thanks!

99% zinc is available in a can, it is also available as a spray, for example from CRC. Search in car accessories.
But it's just aesthetic, the remaining galvanization protects galvanically 2-3 mm out on bare steel.
