I am going to prepare a hallway and will then attach 45mm studs to the existing interior wall. I want to put insulation in the new framework but wonder if you should put wind barrier paper or plastic on the existing wall before adding the new frame? Or should it be skipped? It otherwise seems that there is no form of "barrier" in the wall today, only outer paneling, insulation, and inner surface layer.
