Hello!

I'm planning to close off a door, but the foundation under the door doesn't seem suitable as a base for a brick wall. What to do? Cast a block of concrete? Lay down stone and create a relatively even surface with mortar?

Foundation under a door with rough stones and crumbling mortar, unsuitable for building a brick wall for porch conversion to outdoor storage.
Doesn't seem suitable to build a wall on that.

Open door frame with uneven foundation, showing a chair inside and exposed brickwork surrounding the doorway. Renovation context.
Wider perspective. The porch is to be transformed into outdoor storage or something similar.

I would have built a mold and cast a plinth to place the road on.
