We have installed solar panels and need to run a TP cable through the outer wall to the shed where we have the inverter. Has anyone done something similar and can provide tips and advice on:
1. What is the best way to seal it, energy-wise?
2. How does it work with the insurance companies when making a hole in the moisture barrier/plastic?
We have an alternative to drill through the window frame to avoid the moisture barrier issue, but then the cable would have to run right in the middle of the wall and we would prefer to avoid that.
