How to make a hole in the ceiling?

The previous owner has installed a new ceiling directly over the kitchen exhaust.
Now I need to make an opening in the ceiling.
But there are only 15 cm between the upper cabinet and the ceiling, so I can't reach with a jigsaw or drill.

Tips are gratefully received

Get an ANGLE CHUCK for your drill.

Or maybe unscrew the overhead cabinet.

hole saw in the correct dimension. then try to see if it's possible to turn it through the boards in the ceiling by hand. otherwise, you'll need to take down the cabinet.

I agree, with a Fein Multimaster you can set the blade to 90 degrees out from the machine. (This probably applies to all multi-machines)
