Hello,
I have some pipes in an older house that were insulated as shown in the picture below. A lot of it was worn out and I planned to replace it. Now I can't find any insulation that can cover all the pipes in one go. The pipes are close to each other, making it difficult with the usual pipe insulations.
Anyone have any tips?

Hi. Thanks for the quick response. Does it need to be aluminum-clad? Like these pipe insulations:useless said:

The two white ones are for tap water and the two in copper color are for the radiators. A mix of cold and hot pipes. Previously, they were wrapped with that purple insulation you see in the picture. Cold pipes can cause condensation, so maybe they should be wrapped in some plastic or something. Not sure how important it is.useless said:
The tap water pipe can get a little cold, but it's usually not a problem since you don't run water for long periods at a time.
I would have gone with something like this:

Do you think this one works? https://www.hornbach.se/shop/Isoler...MIyJSWqZDt8gIVBTcYCh0mQA1xEAQYASABEgJHrvD_BwEuseless said:

Actually, it's not great to have pipes in the cold attic. If there is a prolonged power outage when it's at its coldest, insulation alone won't suffice. But it seems to have lasted many years so far.
I also had water pipes in the cold attic but moved them into the floor structure under the heated space since the floors were removed anyway.

Thanks for the info. No relocation of the pipes right now, at least, we'll see later on.imported_Benno said:
