How to fix an old wall and close up a door?

I have an old wall in the future kitchen where a doorway is going to be closed up. Half of the wall will be covered with kitchen furnishings and the rest will be the dining area. The wall is made of all kinds of materials; raw plywood, masonite, plaster, sawdust, and old wallpaper.

If I close up the door with plaster and fill it in, I'm worried that the seam will crack when the house shifts.

One could plaster the entire wall or use thin plywood and 6 mm renovation plasterboard.

What do you others think sounds best?

Plaster the entire wall so that it becomes uniform, that's my advice..

But skip the renovation plaster. It tends to have the peculiarity of following the old wall too much, so much so that it almost makes the "waviness" more prominent.

If the wall is wavy, you can screw in the plasterboard with a few screws and glue most of the board, which then smooths out the unevenness better.

Keep the door inside the drywall, and tape or place handles and keys there. Always fun for the next owner to find
