The previous owners of the house had problems with moisture in the crawlspace, so they opened a bunch of large holes to increase ventilation. I'm not sure if this helped, but I have purchased a dehumidifier to place down there instead, and I want to seal and close all the holes. (I have cleaned out and placed construction plastic in the crawlspace).
I was thinking of sealing the cat flaps with foam plastic and spray foam, unless someone has a better suggestion?
But what should I use to seal these large holes? Lecablock? What mortar should be used for this? I've never done anything like this before.
Grateful for any tips!
