Hi,

Out of sheer clumsiness, I accidentally used a hole saw with a slightly too large diameter when drilling for wall sockets/light switches. Now that the electrician has been here and completed the final installation, there are consequently gaps around these which don't look very nice.

Wall switch with visible gaps around the edges due to an oversized hole saw used for installation.

What is the best and simplest way to fix this? Put in some latex caulk? Some wall filler and paint white? Other suggestions?

All tips are gratefully received!

Is it already painted or not? If not, you could fill it in. Otherwise, I would probably look for some switches that have a larger frame.

Putty and paint if you want it clean and simple.
Textured wallpaper if you want to accentuate it as design.
Or foil, model builder plywood, piece of the floor, etc...

Thanks for the tips!
The One Strike filler mentioned above sounded like a good and simple option to try.
