How to best attach paneling to the ceiling
I've read quite a few threads about how to attach beadboard to the ceiling. Some recommend nailing directly onto the plank, requiring filling afterwards to hide the nails. Some prefer using panel clips, but some have encountered issues where the ceiling falls down over time due to poor clips.
A third method is to screw through the panel's tongue, see picture.
Personally, nailing and filling afterwards doesn't seem very appealing. I would rather paint everything before installing the ceiling.
For those who have bought panel clips, where did you purchase them? And how was the quality after a year, is the ceiling still holding up as it should?
For those who have screwed the ceiling, how was it, would you do it again?

I have used the panel clips that Byggmax sells. There is nothing wrong with the clips themselves, they hold well if you are careful during installation, but it is the spring that becomes very heavily loaded and can crack.
