if I am going to add a wall in the house, I wonder how to attach the floor rail/sill to the floor when it is a concrete slab with underfloor heating? It feels risky to drive screws down there when there are water pipes underneath... don't know how deep they are, maybe you can check.

Works well if you buy adhesive and glue the rule to the floor.
 
I picked with steel nails, about 15-20 mm down into the concrete. But I do know that the hose is about 60mm down. Works great, there's no trouble with the vapor barrier...

And have a couple of mm too long wall studs, so you clamp the sill at the same time..
 
yes, maybe you can do that.. it should hold if you use a strong glue..
