What is the trick for adjusting a cut drywall panel that became a bit too long, or alternatively, needs to be adjusted when it's in an inner corner and the opposing wall isn't 100% straight?

I usually use a surform.

A regular rasp works too.

Thanks for the tips! Doesn't it create a terrible amount of dust when you rasp?

Yes :)

but with the rasp/surform the gypsum rubbish falls right down, it doesn't whirl around the house.

You mean like it can when you use the circular saw instead? :)

At least it doesn't suck the plaster dust into the motor;)

Yes, it shouldn't become a rule. Neither for the cleaning lady nor for the circular saw. But sometimes you're just tired and want to get rid of a piece quickly... ;)
