How should I think about the basement floor?
Aha okay, yes, then that is also a factor in the context. Better than 2.10 anyway as it is in many basements, which is the minimum ceiling height according to building regulations for living spaces where one stays temporarily. Otherwise, it is formally 2.30 that applies for living rooms.S Selleus said:
The plastic film has protected the floor from moisture damage due to ground moisture.S Selleus said:
This indicates that there is ground moisture/moisture migration through the concrete slab to consider.S Selleus said:
So, if you're laying tiles, are you going to do it without underfloor heating and will you lay directly on the base plate? For information, I've transported all the sand away from the "gillestugan" now 🙃😀S Selleus said:

Does it work to replace 10 cm of sand with 10 cm of insulation, such as cellular plastic, mill in grooves for underfloor heating, and finish with subfloor panels and tiles?
I didn't think you could lay insulation on an existing slab because it's classified as a "risk construction"?T Thomas_Blekinge said:
