how long does 13 mm Furu pärlspont need to be stored at room temperature to avoid unpleasant shrinkage between the tongue and groove. bought from a mill, packaged in plastic wrap 8/package.

I would recommend painting before installation to avoid unpainted gaps. However, do not apply too thick a layer of paint as it can be difficult to assemble them. I got hold of pre-painted beadboard and avoided both problems that way, but it's a bit late for that tip if you've already made the purchase.
