I am going to build an outbuilding with a felt roof.
The outbuilding will be insulated, and I plan to have an air gap in the roof and spray insulation.
How should I resolve the opening for the air gap at the ridge so that it looks nice and functional? Is it okay to just have a metal sheet bent over the ridge and the air gap opening with about a 2-3 cm gap against the facade so it's open to the air gap?
I will have paneling with battens. The paneling will vary between 170 and 145 with batten paneling of 60x25-30. Then one should be able to put the metal against the batten and the gap formed between the metal and the paneling will then be as deep as the batten.
Does anyone have a better suggestion?
Attached is a terrible detail😄
