I have some small plans to renovate our old bathroom and realized that it is currently framed at 60cc with a wet room wallpaper there.
And I have been thinking about converting to 30cc in the framework to support a tiled wall.

The question is how, after tearing down the wall panel in the bathroom, to attach the studs from the bathroom side without affecting the rooms surrounding the bathroom,
as I don’t want to screw the studs into the room next door and renovate that as well.
Because I assume the stud should be securely fastened and not just from the bathroom side.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Regards,
Jimmy

Apply glue to the old wall and screw at the top and bottom is what I would have done anyway.

Attach the beam at the top and bottom by toe-nailing = diagonally up/down from the side of the beam. Nothing is needed in the plate from the other room/en.
Then screw the plate in the bathroom into the beam.

Well, I was considering angled nailing and adhesive setting in the remaining board but wonder if that's sufficient...

enough.
