How can I calculate the C/C distance for underlying joists for a sheet material?
I would like to use Cembrit Construction fiber cement boards on a roof that will be walked on. How do I go about using the manufacturer's strength data to calculate the spacing I can have between the beams?
My question is specifically about determining how much support the fiber cement boards need to prevent cracking under certain loads (snow and traffic).
How should I proceed? Where can I find formulas, etc.?
