Hello

I was looking at the drawings of my house and saw that it says 3 = INP 22 and 2 = INP 18 on the drawing.

What do these designations mean?

Blueprint showing house layout with labels "3 = INP 22" and "2 = INP 18" indicating beam sections, in areas marked 'kök' and 'sovrum'.

Thank you in advance!

It doesn't say 3 = but 3 m and 2 m. That is 3 and 2 meters.

I stands for I-beam and NP for normalprofil, which is probably the old German designation normalprofile where you then have profile number 18 and 22, meaning 180 and 220 mm height on the web of the beam.

That could very well be the case, hard to see exactly on old drawings.

Thanks for keeping track :)
