Drove past a house earlier today. What I could see was that ALL the walls are made of styrofoam! What kind of technique is this, does anyone know??

Like building blocks that you stack on top of each other, then you pour concrete inside.

The same technique that, among other things, makes the frame for pools?
But what kind of facade and interior does it have?
You must be able to put things up, run electricity, etc.

I have just built such a house. You attach studs on the inside which you then screw the drywall into. The tricky part I have now is attaching doors and windows in a sensible way.

Foam sealant? Will stick like a rock.....:)

Doesn't Cellplast Direkt have special screws that are used to install windows and doors? I think I've seen them.

Well, but presumably they cost about 100kr each.

From Cellplastdirekt's brochure, attach windows and doors, for example, with 6 mm plywood strips and screw fastenings.

What do you think about this house then? From what I can see, it seems to be built entirely with these approximately 20 cm thick black boards of cellplast and then they've plastered over it.

A house under construction with black foam panels and external plaster; scaffolding and construction materials are visible in the foreground.

Don't know how it is to plaster directly on the cellplast... We used the logolit blocks from Cellplast Direkt and are very satisfied. Good comfort and low consumption. Have lived here for almost exactly a year now and have a total consumption of about 9000kWh. (Waterborne floor heating combined with a Nibe 750, no fireplace)

Dorocell and sundolitt now have a built-in plastic sheet behind the cellular plastic that can be screwed into. This means that you don't need to set up studs on the walls to fireproof with, for example, gypsum. Previously, sundolitt had a metal sheet that was installed for each round, which was cumbersome. Building houses with this method is fun and provides good insulation value. You can easily handle these blocks yourself as they don't weigh many kilos each.
