Hello,

I have a circular saw that is 76mm. It is thus 2mm too large for the electrical boxes, but does this matter? Do the boxes need to fit tightly against the drywall? I was planning to put up drywall this weekend, but I'm suddenly a bit uncertain.

Best regards,
Per

1mm on each side? That should be fine...

Nothing to worry about.
If you want to earn extra credit, you can apply some latexfog there afterwards.

Ok, thanks for the answers. That sounds good. :)

It won't be visible anyway once the socket/switch or whatever it is that's supposed to be there is in place...

it's 70mm milling for wall boxes ?? and 80 for ceiling boxes....or am I wrong?

You are wrong...but it's easy to confuse. A hole saw for a device box is called T70 but is 74mm and for a junction box, they are called T80 but are 84mm.
