I am planning a renovation that involves creating an opening for a door into my current garage. The opening will be made in the facade wall between the house and the garage. My neighbor down the street has done the same thing, but being law-abiding, I contacted the municipality, which of course requires a few things...
I submitted a sketch/drawing of how the opening would be made, which the municipality approved. See the red marking for the opening in the image and K-sketch.
The municipality said I do not need a supervisor but that they want a "self-inspection for reinforcement" when the project is completed.
Self-inspection is unfamiliar to me, and I am not really sure how to perform this according to their requirements.
Is there any kind soul who could help me explain this?
