Does anyone have experience with hole cutting methods?

I have a basement wall in solid concrete (385 mm thick :wow:) where I need to cut several holes for window installation.
The work probably requires a professional hole cutting company, but which method is best?
The best would be if it is both dust-free and noiseless, but I probably value a method that is practically noiseless to not disturb the elderly residents in the house.
What methods are practically available? Water jet cutting, laser, chain cutting?????

They will probably want to use a diamond blade to cut the holes in the wall, wet, sounds, vibrates and creates some dust. Silent and dust-free it won't be regardless of the method, notify the neighbors and inform them of what you are doing and how long you will be working on it, and it should be fine.

Thanks for the answer Perk, it was exactly the diamond blade method that I wanted to avoid.

Sure, it's the most common and it works, but I myself have the negative experiences that you mentioned from previous drilling projects.

The question is; Is the diamond blade method the only one available on the market?

No, there are companies that perform chain cutting. Just a little more expensive...

But hardly silent either.

I googled a bit and found this method -
Now it seems this company doesn't exist in southern Sweden but does anyone have an opinion on whether the method itself can be used successfully in a basement (without filling the basement with water :wow:).

Anything specific to consider, if you find a similar company/method in my region?
