Hinges for HEAVY floor hatch!
Hinges for a car door? They are sturdy but probably really expensive as new spare parts.
Used?
Otherwise, make your own.
Iron against iron with a drop of oil once in a while shouldn't be a problem. That lid isn't likely to flutter like a lark's wing exactly?

No, they are not made for this type of load (the pin risks bending/weld may crack) and you also have to get them completely straight for them to work if you use them like this.. (in normal application they slide on the contact surface between the male and female where there is a brass washer)raveper said:

Axle straight through and bearings in the frame? Shouldn't cost a fortune

You build the frame and the door together and attach it in the hole; if it is steel, you weld, if it is concrete, it becomes a chemical anchor or am I missing something?

Just see lots of solutions, how much should it be opened? If I compare with my cart on the machine, it lifts about 10 tons and leads on greased 60 axles at 2 points, then a small hatch at 200 kg should manage on 30mm axles without even thinking about wear if you open <1000 times a year.
Some pictures would be greatAndreas_kalmar said:
