Hide pillar foundation

Our veranda stands on pillars and is completely open underneath - not very nice. Does anyone have tips on how to hide the pillar foundation?

Dress it with horizontal paneling ??? That's what we will do and personally, I think it looks good.

alternatively, you can buy bricks and stack them around the wooden deck..
it can turn out really nice..

The point of a post foundation is that it is fairly well-ventilated. Sealing it with planks or bricks sounds a bit unfortunate. Now I don't know what your house looks like, but if it, for example, has a functionalist character, a nice façade slat works really well.

Doesn't sound like a good idea at all. You need to have air circulation underneath, otherwise it will start to mold.
