I want to set up a few narrow simple shelves above our stove (just painted boards really).
I would prefer to mount these without visible brackets and I know there are special fittings for hidden mounting. (e.g., http://www.specialbeslag.se/konsoler/dolda-konsoler/konsol-4)
The problem is that the wall bends at 45 degrees in two places and the shelves need to follow the wall (the stove is in a corner), so quite a few mounting points will be needed and the special fittings are quite expensive.
I think there should be a simpler way to attach the shelves, as they won't be too deep?
My first idea was to screw those "Ikea screws" directly into the wall (connecting screw http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bygg/Fastelement/Ovrigt/Kopplingsskruv-10-st-862003), but the problem is that the wall is gypsum and OSB, and it needs to go into the OSB, so there's too little sticking out, but I think the basic idea holds, as I just want small "pins" sticking out from the wall.
Are there any alternative simple solutions?
