Hello
I have a south-facing house with a patio on the south side, and I plan to excavate the slope under the current patio to build two apartments with a total area of 8*10 m (each apartment will be about 40 sqm). A patio is to be built on top of the apartments, and the challenge is to find a roof solution for the apartments that adds as little height as possible (due to the sewage that needs to be installed, the distance to my patio door up there, etc.). The apartments are planned to be built with polystyrene block technology.
How do I build the roof for these apartments in the smartest way? What type of insulation and how should I think to ensure good drainage? And how should I think about building the patio on top?
Anyone knowledgeable on this forum who has ideas on how I can construct the whole thing?
Best regards, Micke
