Help with flooring on sand!
Today I spoke with an old floor layer at Bauhaus. He said that when installing particle board on a joist with sand, you should choose particle board about 10-12 mm thick. Between the particle boards, you then place a masonite strip, about 5 cm for each board. This strip is glued on the underside, and then you press the boards down into the joint so that they are level. He also said that I can't skip thresholds, I must have them. Apparently, there's no difference between laminate and parquet, both are a living material that moves.
