Hello

I am going to build a stand-alone wood-fired sauna with an accompanying storage/relaxation area (extra bed for guests) that will be kept unheated. I have read many different ways to build, and I find it to be a jungle...

The current construction proposal is from Hunton (same construction in both rooms):

Wall (from outside->in):
- Exterior panel
- Air gap
- Hunton wind barrier board 12 mm
- 120 mm upright stud with 120 mm Hunton wood fiber insulation
- Hunton IntelloPlus vapor barrier
- Air gap (Hunton recommended this)
- Inner panel/sauna panel

Roof with Truss:
- Concrete tiles
- Battens
- Diff open roof membrane, like DIFFTAK BISON
- Sheathing (I want sheathing myself to make it a bit easier to walk on)
- Air
- Hunton wood fiberboard, type 120 mm between the roof beams (it is probably called something else, but I mean the rule at the bottom of the truss)
- Hunton IntelloPlus vapor barrier
- Internal ceiling panel

I was NOT planning to have soffit ventilation since it is diff open, is that correct? I was thinking of adding gable ventilation anyway, but maybe it's unnecessary?
I am considering reducing to 95 mm wall studs but am a bit worried it will be unstable.

What do you think about this?
