Hello!

I have a small project I'm contemplating. It's a small canopy over the entrance with two glass panels.
Initially, I thought of having a glulam post in the corner where the walls meet, thinking of a 90x90.
But a 90x90 would probably give a rather bulky impression since the wall sections are quite small.

So alternatively, perhaps a 70x70 post would be better and then build a frame around the window sections with 45x70.
A framework in 45x70 should be strong enough to support the canopy, right?
But it might look a bit unfinished if no paneling is added to the posts and beams?

Or can you suggest another way to elegantly and stylishly solve the framework around the window? I would gratefully appreciate it.

70x70 g4-2 is not construction timber but should be sufficient to support this small porch roof, right? Or what do you think?
