Had to tear off moldings and trim before the wallpaper could be put in place. Sanding these is unthinkable due to time constraints. So if anyone knows what kind of trim it is and where it can be bought, it would be a great help.

They are 65mm high
See attached image for profile

I am offering a finder's fee to the first person who can provide me with a name and where I can buy them.
200kr (swish).
Payment will be made once I have received the trim to compare with the existing ones.

  • A hand holding a piece of white molding or trim, showing its side profile with a carved design, outdoors with grass in the background.
Cut a piece and go to a real brädgård, not a department store then

Örslösa trä och hyvleri in Lidköping manufactures moldings based on original specifications if they don't happen to have yours as a standard. The prices I have received are definitely reasonable. You can skip the swishing, a thank you is enough if it turns out well for you. Good luck!

Judging by the profile and appearance, they are probably quite old. They are surely not available in general trade. The best solution is usually to go to a specialty carpenter and have new ones made. The biggest problem is making that large roundel, which requires large and specially ground steel. Trim profiles tend to be somewhat regionally anchored. You can also try with some local planing mill or sawmill. If it is only for a limited number of doors, you can create a makeshift solution by bringing out the large roundel with a plane and sandpaper.

aware that it is possible to get exactly the profile one wants. was a bit unclear in the first post.
however, the price is too high then (seen prices at 3-5 thousand for manufacturing of tål and set-up time.).
so to clarify, it should be possible to buy ready-made and available in stock.
the house is located in Dalarna if that helps.

Why not use what you have? They look quite fresh and they don't need to be bare wood to be painted, do they? Or do you want a finish like spray-painted modern moldings?

There are pre-lacquered ones and that's what I'm looking for. I don't have the energy/time to paint.

How similar do they have to be? Is almost enough?

Actually looking for identical. But worth considering

I don't know where you live, but in Vasastan, Stockholm, there is a list butik that routers and paints in exactly matching color...

the name of it?

Can't you check those who lacquer kitchen cabinets?
It might not be that expensive to have them sanded and spray-painted.

They helped me fix the door casings in the turn-of-the-century apartment we lived in... It wasn't cheap though...
