Make an extension (dashed) in a corner according to the image. Old-fashioned glass veranda in post and beam construction.

Seam-covered metal with a minimal slope of 5.7 degrees. Snow load zone 2.0-2.5. The roof thus slopes in 2 directions.

The length of the glulam beam (green) will be approximately 6.5m

Is 90x315 sufficient?
Hand-drawn sketch of a building extension with measurements, featuring a green beam labeled for length. Old house and new extension parts are marked.

Or should I consider another solution?
How do I construct a roof based on my conditions?
Truss?
Who do I contact?

I was actually thinking of building something simpler myself since it is a veranda and also inaccessible with a crane truck.

There is nothing wrong with your idea, but get help from someone who can assist you in calculating the beam, for instance where you intend to buy the beam. It’s not only the snow zone that loads the beam, but there will probably also be a snow pocket on the roof since the adjoining building is higher.

The supplier of the beam usually provides calculations for the purpose. Just ask your professional building materials store.

Thanks for the responses. I've reached out to several manufacturers/suppliers who will get back to me.

But everyone is specialized in their own area, either rafters or glulam beams.

Is there anyone knowledgeable who can help me figure out the most reasonable solution to move forward?
Buy a glulam beam and then install the rafters myself?
Or are rafters needed?

Direction of the rafters?
As it stands now, the short side at the top in the image will unfortunately be without an eave.

Received a response from the dealer that it was too difficult to assess and they recommend a designer.

Is there any designer on the forum who can undertake this (for compensation)? Or does anyone have a recommendation for a designer?

A retailer of glulam can turn to their supplier for help with this.

Maybe this link can help you move forward. https://www.byggbeskrivningar.se/dimensionering/
It's not exactly very difficult to calculate snow load and determine which deflection the construction can withstand. Unfortunately, I don't really understand your drawing.
