Hello.
I am going to cut an opening in a wall in my summer cottage and need a reciprocating saw for this. Besides this opening, I plan to use it for smaller branch/trimming tasks. So, it won't be used a lot or often, and I'm looking for a cheaper option.
I'm not particularly strong in the arms, wrists, or hands and would need help with what to consider when purchasing. What's most important? Power? Cutting capacity? Weight? Stroke rate? Constant sawing? I would gratefully accept tips and advice from you wise members.

The most important thing is that it is battery-powered if you want to use it in the garden. Choose a brand that has many tools with the same battery system. Ryobi is a good brand for hobby craftsmen. Choose a battery of 5ah or have several with lower capacity. Demolition/sawing of a wall requires a lot of battery capacity. Furthermore, the saw blade plays a very significant role; use the right blade for the right purpose and buy expensive blades that last a long time.
