Hello there!
Beginner here. I accidentally made a mistake when I enthusiastically started with the newly purchased steam machine from Jula. The wallpaper came off very easily on the concrete walls. So far, so good. It didn't come off as easily on the drywall, and to top it all off, the paper on the drywall disappeared too. And since I acted before I thought, I now have an entire wall with bare drywall. And I can't exactly wallpaper directly on the drywall, right?
My question is: Can I attach a 6 mm drywall on top of the old drywall? Will it become unstable for any reason? I thought it would probably work to nail in the same line as the old drywall, so that it lands on the studs behind. What do you think?

Thank you! That sounds promising. Now here's the next question. Is it possible to put up lining paper on the wallpapers I haven't torn down, or do I have to first put new plasterboards on everything? According to various retailers, you can't put lining paper on top of the wallpaper, but I think that sounds a bit strange.
