Gypsum Board Asbestos

Due to the poor condition of the tiles and joints in the hallway floor, I am considering tearing it out and making it new. With this in mind, I delved a bit into what it looks like underneath the tiles.

The picture is taken where I removed the threshold between the hallway and living room. The tiles seem to be laid on some form of floor gypsum screwed down into the particleboard. What I notice are the ends of the gypsum board where "bristles" stick out that resemble fiberglass. They stick out both together and sporadically. Thoughts naturally go towards the dangerous asbestos direction.

Has anyone encountered similar boards or have other thoughts on what it might be? I hope it's clear in the picture.

The thoughts naturally turn towards the deadly asbestos direction.

Has anyone encountered similar boards or have other thoughts on what it could be?

No. Jens. It is not "obviously" waste. What you describe are gypsum boards. As far as I can tell.

Some pictures of the deadly asbestos would help.

Yes, I also think it resembles fiberglass. I seem to remember that asbestos and fiberglass behave differently if you burn it?
