Gutter hook screw or farmer screw for pipe clamp?
Have a long downspout on the barn that has torn its brackets. Bought new ones. But unsure which screws I should use.
Bought two types;
* The gutter hook screws are stainless and stainless can break easily.
* Tek screws with washer and gasket. Maybe greater risk of the brackets moving because of the gasket?
Which one do you think is better?

Those things people have to water the grass a bit away from the house. Like extending the downspout with a sock.
Right now, I've forced on a long drain pipe, which is probably the reason the entire downspout has come loose. It's just a 90-degree bend at the bottom, and I don't want all the water to run down onto the post below.

Those green plastic socks last a maximum of a year, then the plastic is dried out. When I bought the house, the previous owner had riveted an extra downpipe after the 90-degree bend, which led the water away a bit. The connection doesn't even need to be almost tight. Now I've placed a rain barrel there and lead away an ordinary garden hose from it. It works well until a better stormwater solution is made.
