Ground slab mineral wool in wall?

As I understand it, the better the sound insulation in a wall, the heavier it is. Is there any reason not to use a floor slab (stone wool) in a wall?

If I'm going to install floor slabs, how should I proceed considering the wall is 90 mm - can I use a 100 mm floor slab and press it hard, or should I go with a 70 mm slab and what can I use for the remaining 20 millimeters?

I would like to say it's a stupid idea. The insulation is there to prevent resonance noise, not because it's heavy. There is a risk that the ground slab is so stiff that sound waves propagate through the wall.

Where did I get the idea that it's good for it to be heavy, does that apply when discussing boards (OSB compared to gips)?

I have learned that materials with high density best block sound. Density and weight are somewhat related...

Okay, so it's good to have something with a high density, but not too stiff (so that sound waves don't propagate as Fozz warns)? Are fire-resistant rock wool boards somewhere between regular rock wool and ground slabs? Could that be a good alternative then?
