Good quality in Biltema's construction department?
Planning a small project in the outhouse. A project where budget is important.
So I thought I'd ask about the quality of Biltema's building department, primarily screws and angle irons I'm interested in.. Is the quality of the items good?

It's impossible to generalize here. Saying that it's the same quality as Bauhaus or Byggmax is risky. Bauhaus has both its own brands and professional brands (Essve, MFT, Fischer, etc.), often with different pricing. Byggmax can sometimes have the same situation. All the building fittings at Bauhaus are from Joma and their properties are well-documented. It's impossible to say where Biltema produces or sources theirs from. This can also change from one year to another. The same, of course, applies to screws and the like.
It should also be added that Biltema is not cheap for this type of goods. They are often significantly more expensive than both Bauhaus and Byggmax.

Considering buying timber at Byggmax, and it sounds here like it's a good idea to also buy screws and other supplies there...F falkn said:It's not possible to generalize here.
