I calculate that 500ml of 561 gives about 13l? Hard to believe that 461 only gives half. So if it's not a tiny can, you should have a margin. But difficult to know what mistake Hornbach made with the product info. Even if you fill a little with mortar, it should be good with foam in the middle?
According to the data sheet, 561 Pure gives about 13 liters as you said, while 461 Top gives 7.2 liters, both based on 500 ml bottles. At least that's how I understand it. Yes, it seems reasonable to use some foam even if you go with the solution with more mortar.

Received a response from Sundströms, the reason for recommending an air-supplied respirator is not only due to propane but also because the safety data sheet contains substances that require both ABE+P3 and AX gas filters, which is not possible.

Why worry about a single exposure? You probably ingest much more kollijox daily just by being outside and breathing "fresh air."

Yeah, that's exactly what's so hard to determine—how dangerous something is. On one side, you have people spraying foam without any protection, even tradesmen, and on the other, people talking about very hazardous substances like isocyanates. It's difficult to know where to stand.

The only thing I really know is that I don't want to have various problems later in life where better choices now could have prevented them. If you have air-related issues when you're 60, it's often too late to do anything about it, at least if it's due to pollution/chemicals.

I'm the person who first tests the plastic mat to be removed; if there's asbestos, I'll likely let a professional take it out. If there's no asbestos, then at least a P3 filter is necessary in the mask.

But in this case, it might be overkill. I'm going to put about 7 liters of foam in a hole, and I can spray it from the outside.

Well, it's up to each individual to assess a risk. If I thought that way, I should be dead by now............I'm a car mechanic and have never cared about anything. I've painted countless cars with no protection at all, just blowing my nose afterwards. How much gasoline have I inhaled over the years.........exhaust fumes and burning undercoat, not to mention welding smoke..............I am quite convinced that my genes decide when one dies regardless...........
