We have a split-level house in brick built in 1971. On the lower floor, there was a raised wooden floor with insulation directly on the concrete slab. This construction has molded, and therefore we have now torn out all the floor, insulation, and beams, etc., and will start from scratch. Now there is only bare concrete left. We have been recommended to install a Nivell system (ventilated floor) to avoid the risk of moisture and mold again.
My question is whether there are any good alternatives to Nivell in our case. I'm primarily considering the cost aspect, as Nivell costs 400-500 SEK/sqm...
Very grateful for help!
