Can you glue with polyurethane foam? From my own experience, I know that the adhesion is very good. It sticks to everything, usually where you don't want it. It's almost impossible to remove if you spill it on any surface.
Let's say I want to attach plaster to uneven leca walls. I also want a minimal extension. But preferably an air gap behind for electricity and some other things. If I use lightweight concrete screws to attach battens, say 22x70mm, at strategic points. That is, I have to place shims at the attachment points so it becomes straight. Could I then spray polyurethane foam between the battens and the wall where there is otherwise empty space? Partly so it doesn't give way if you press on the wall. But also for increased strength. What do you think? Will it work?
