Hi!
I'm planning to move a wall that contains a glulam beam.
My question is, can I use 7 pieces of 45x70 studs pressed together with 30 cc studs underneath, instead of buying a glulam beam? Of course, a stud on the floor too.
The reason for my question is that I have so many 45x70 studs at home.
The wall is somewhat load-bearing, but I plan to move it about 25-30 cm backward. The house is from 1986 and built with trusses.
So the question is, could it work if I use regular studs (7 of them), assembled instead of a 'real' glulam beam?

Grateful for answers!

It is VERY uncertain if you can move such a beam at all.
Additionally, the strength of 7 joists put together is not particularly high.
