I'm going to attach a rubber strip to the beam of my greenhouse as protection for the hinges over the skylights. What kind of glue or sealant is there that adheres to both wood and rubber and also withstands moisture?
The advice is probably good, but skip PL600, pure junk (unlike PL400 which it is supposed to replace, but PL400 with solvent might not work against the rubber).
I glued some Styrofoam boards with PL600 to a support wall, intended to be glued only until I had filled it in with gravel. The filling had to wait over the winter. After the winter, all the glue joints had come loose, and it was the glue that had failed, not the Styrofoam. Now, it wasn't a big disaster, but I would never dare to use PL600 if it was important that it works.
A regular latex sealant would have been stronger than PL600.
