Hi

I bought several tubes of no more nails and started gluing panel boards directly onto the plastic mat in the bathroom, it stuck well at first, but then after a few minutes it came off, well I guess I have to put a board there to hold it in tension. Oops, it comes off on that side too... you know when you're standing there and everything just comes loose... but you can't give up because it has to be finished today!!

You realize it won't work, you have to remove all the glue... found a tube of pl400 tested it but it failed too.

So now I'm looking for a glue that grabs immediately and doesn’t require holding the panel in tension.

Could Xtremfix or Ess Tack Pro be something?

Or do I have to hold the panel in tension? Am I doing it wrong?

have you cleaned before?

Yes, like the glue stuck well to the carpet and the board but came off itself, I did cut the nozzle by a cm so it wasn't a very thick bead...

I haven't wiped the carpet or the board, I didn't feel like it was particularly dirty...

A better glue is probably needed, that grabs immediately so you don't have to put it under tension...

the walls probably have too much curve. or it's too humid

there's now new OSB and gypsum behind... it might possibly be an unreasonably small bend..=) and it's bone dry... the only moisture is my beer...

I will try Casco's and see how it works..but isn't it strange..it should work...

Purchased, Casco Xtremfix, really good grip right away! A bit more expensive but well worth it.
