I have read in an old thread that it is perfectly fine to glue gypsum against plastered lightweight concrete. The question is whether it is just as good to glue plywood. The reason I am considering plywood is that it will cover an outward corner where I fear gypsum will be very fragile. This is about a wall on the upper floor with no moisture risk. What type of adhesive would you recommend in that case?

I have glued OSB to plaster (PL400) and it worked well, but there are outer corners in metal for drywall if it's the actual corner you are concerned about.

Thank you. Works with both plasterboard and ply/OSB. Advantages of each board?
